The Mesa Verde Literary Festival will take place at various venues throughout the day in Mancos on Saturday, September 5th.
The event will include author talks, panel discussions, readings, a pop up book shop and youth poetry and storytelling. Colorado Poet Laureate Crisosto Apache will be in attendance.

The Odd Cat Bookstore in Dolores will host a celebration of local authors on Saturday, September 5th from 10:00am.
Titled "Canyon Creatives", the event will allow attendees to meet local authors and learn of their work. Local musician, Charles Wecker will also perform.
ZU Gallery will host "Wags and Wine" in Montezuma Park on Saturday, September 5th from 1:00pm.
The event will feature wine and mocktail tastings, live music from FA3 QU33N (fay-queen) and Goathead, and a Mutt Mayor election benefiting For Pets' Sake.

The Mancos Common Press is hosting a print festival on Friday, September 18th and Saturday, September 19th for a celebration of all things print.
The weekend will include hands-on workshops, a print market, steamroller printing, a community print project, and a kids’ printing station. The festival kicks off with a keynote author talk by artist, Chip Thomas.
