ZU Gallery in Cortez will host a Día de los Muertos (DEE-ah day lohs MWEHR-tohs) celebration on Saturday, November 1st at 6PM.
Mayor Rachel Medina will provide opening remarks, followed by Ballet Folklórico (fohl-KLOH-ree-koh) de Durango dancers performing traditional Mexican regional dances.
Activities include calavera (kah-lah-VEH-rah) painting, marigold flower crown making, and memory cards. There's also a gallery opening featuring Latina artist Nico Yazz. All ages welcome. For more information, visit zugallery.com.
