Those Remarkable Pinto Bean Farmers of the Great Sage Plain
On Saturday, August 15th from 2:00pm at The United Methodist Church in Cortez, Montezuma Heritage Museum will host a lecture exploring the the history and significance of pinto bean farming on the Great Sage Plain.
Presented by Bob Bernhart and Steve Garcher the lecture will focus on the role pinto beans have played in shaping the agricultural economy and cultural identity of the region.
