  • The New Mexico Environment Department is hosting a listening session for Navajo Nation farmers affected by the 2015 Gold King Mine spill. From 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Shiprock Chapter House, the department wants to hear the concerns of farmers and how the spill altered the perception of the safety of their product.
  • February finished as a dry month for Cortez. Precipitation was only 13% of average for the month.
