Officials Celebrate Start of Montezuma County Courthouse Construction

Montezuma County and Court district officials break ground with golden shovels to mark the beginning of construction on the new Montezuma County Courthouse

Montezuma County held a groundbreaking ceremony Monday for its new, $8.2 million combined courthouse project. Officials wielded golden shovels as they launched the construction project for a 28,000-square-foot building at Park and Driscoll streets in Cortez.
