A 52-year-old woman died in Cortez’s City Park on Friday.
Police Chief Roy Lane says Joanna Laner of Towaoc was found, not breathing, around 4 that afternoon about a half-hour after a welfare check by police. Lane says there was no indication of foul play and her death was from natural causes.
