Montezuma County was successful in its application for a $514,000 grant from Colorado’s Underfunded Courthouse Facility Commission.

On Monday, the county commissioners said the monies will be used to pay for wood paneling and acoustic improvements in the $8 million courthouse being built in Cortez.
