Durango Police Hunt for Robbery Suspects

Durango police are seeking two suspects in an armed robbery that reportedly took place Tuesday evening in the 700 block of Main Avenue.

According to a release, a 39-year-old woman from Farmington, New Mexico, says two men confronted her in an alley behind Santé Alternative Wellness after she had purchased marijuana there. One reportedly brandished a knife. The men threatened to kill her if she did not surrender her purse containing the pot. They then fled on foot with the stolen goods. Both were described as Hispanic males, one 6 feet tall, the other about 5-foot-5. Video of the suspects is posted at www.facebook.com/cityofdurango.
