Montezuma County Public Health Department Focuses on Power of Prevention

The week of April 3rd is National Public Health Week. To recognize it, the Montezuma County Public Health Department will hold an open house on Tuesday April 4^th from 4 to 6pm at their offices on North Street in Cortez. The department says it will be “celebrating the power of prevention, advocating for healthy and fair policies, sharing strategies for successful partnerships and championing the role of a strong public health system.” For an update on the state of public health in Montezuma County in general, KSJD's Austin Cope talked to Bobbi Lock, director of the Montezuma County Health Department.
