Last year, three separate teen suicides rocked communities in Montezuma and La Plata Counties. Locals throughout the region organized forums and community meetings to discuss the best ways to address the complex and intersecting issues of behavioral health, parenting, and bullying.  To continue the conversation about these topics, author and educator Barbara Coloroso will speak on the Dolores High School gym on Tuesday, April 11th at 6pm. Coloroso has written a list of bestselling books about parenting, bullying, and the societal factors that surround them, including “Kids are Worth It” and “Extraordinary Evil.” She joined KSJD's Austin Cope from her home office in Denver to talk about her work and her philosophies in general.
