A monument honoring Navajo Code Talkers will be unveiled Friday, November 10th, in Aztec, New Mexico. The Farmington Daily-Times reports the San Juan County commissioners will dedicate the memorial, which is being placed outside the county administration building at 100 South Oliver Drive, at 11 a.m. Navajo leaders and other dignitaries have also been invited to the ceremony. The monument recognizes the contributions of the Code Talkers to winning World War II through their unusual code based on their native language.
