Time Again to Be Bear-Aware, Officials Say

Wildlife officials are reminding the public to be aware of bear activity as spring begins.A release from Colorado Parks and Wildlife says the animals are emerging from hibernation and will be looking for food. People are reminded to secure their garbage cans and to get rid of other possible food sources near their homes.

After graduating from Montezuma-Cortez High School in 2010, he lived in Belgium, Ohio, Spain, northern Wyoming, and Himachal Pradesh, India before returning to the Cortez area.
