Navajo Nation President Signs Infrastructure Funding Bill

Austin Cope

The Navajo Nation is devoting about $100 million to fund infrastructure projects across the reservation.

According to a release, the legislation was signed by President Russell Begaye on Monday. The improvements are intended to cover electrical infrastructure, water lines, broadband, and road maintenance.

Begaye says the list of projects has been determined by individual communities, and that they will improve quality of life and economic development across the Nation.
