Southwest Memorial Hospital Opens New Wing, More Office Space

Austin Cope

Officials with Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez unveiled the facility’s $32 million expansion project to the public Monday night. Staff gave tours of the new medical office building and 20-bed patient wing to numerous citizens. The new lobby is not yet finished but should be open in mid-August.

CORRECTION 6/7/18, 3:15pm: A previous version of this story incorrectly listed the cost of the project at  $14 million. The total cost of the project is actually $32 million.
