In this month’s edition of KSJD’s Veteran’s Affairs, KSJD’s Tom Yoder has a look at how local veterans are faring during the coronavirus pandemic and what they can do to stay connected and safe.

Like other county offices, Montezuma County Veteran Services will open to the public on Monday as the state eases some restrictions. The office will continue to follow health guidelines for in-person visits but encourages people to call or email first to see if their questions can be answered remotely.

Rick Torres, Montezuma County’s veteran service officer, joins KSJD to share how his office has worked under Colorado’s stay-at-home order.

Tom Yoder is the Executive Director at KSJD and the Sunflower Theatre. He co-produces the Raven Narratives live storytelling project and podcast, produced the podcast "Fieldwork: Misadventures at the Edge of Science", and often hosts interviews on KSJD.
