Raven Narratives

The Raven Narratives seeks to connect us with each other and the places where we live and play by featuring people of all colors, ages, and perspectives sharing their authentic experiences through dynamic storytelling in front of a live audience.

The stories told at Raven Narrative events are true personal stories told without notes, no rants or endorsements are allowed, and the stories relate to a theme for each event.

Podcast episodes are produced featuring the stories told at Raven Narratives events. Click HERE to explore the stories that have been told so far!

Guidelines for Raven Narratives storytellers:
1. Stories must be true.
2. Stories must be told in the first person.
3. No soapboxing, preaching, etc.
4. Stories must be told in 8-10 minutes.
5. Must relate in someway to the theme of the event.

The next Raven Narratives storytelling events will be a storytelling SLAM on December 6th at the Sunflower Theatre and December 7th at the Durango Arts Center, when the theme will be "holidays". Storytelling SLAM events feature stories told by audience members who put their name into a box and share their story when their name is pulled! So think about those crazy holiday travel mishaps, those precious days with family, or the best gift you ever got, and share your holiday story!
