He is one of the most controversial of the Trump cabinet nominees, many of whom Democratic officials have taken a blanket stance against. Colorado Democrat Senator Michael Bennet voted against Kennedy, but did vote to confirm Republican Brooke Rollins as the Secretary of Agriculture.
