Cultural Demonstration at Canyons of the Ancients
Canyon of the Ancients Visitor Center and Museum will play host to Hopi artists, Marvene and Nuvadi Dawahoya on Saturday, July 12th from 10:00am until 2:00pm for a special cultural demonstration.
Marvene will share her process of weaving traditional sifter baskets from yucca and alongside her, Nuvadi, will showcase his intricate kachina carvings made from cottonwood root.
