Gold King Mine Spill Video Series Presentation
A video series titled "Acid Mine Nation" will be shown on Sunday, September 26th, starting at 1:00pm at the Animas City Theater in Durango. The videos in the series document the Gold King Mine spill of 2015, the clean-up efforts at the mine, and the aftermath that followed after the spill. The Animas City Theater requires that patrons show proof of vaccination or be tested negative for COVID-19 up to 48 hours prior to entering the theater.
