The Disabled American Veterans Outreach Center offers rides for Veterans to medical appointments and is looking for volunteer drivers to join the team. Vehicles and gas are provided for these trips.

The Dolores Mountain Quilters will meet on the first Tuesday of each month at the Dolores Community Center, located at 400 Riverside. The meeting will start at 10am, after a brief social time at 9:30am. For more information, call Laura Bauer at 303-875-4783.

Cortez Integrated Healthcare hosts a peer-led addiction recovery support group every Tuesday at 5:00 PM. Participants will learn practical recovery tools in a supportive, non-12-step environment.

The Pinon Project will offer a parenting class called "Six Bricks" every Tuesday from 5:30 to 8:00pm.

This new and updated program is centered around six research-proven steps that will help build a strong foundation for children's lives.

Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, The Sunflower Theatre will host Improv Comedy Jams. Beginning at 6:00pm, these classes are intended to suit total beginners and those of an intermediate level.
Instructed by the Sunflower Theatre's Director, Sarah Syverson, participants will learn new improv skills and find their authentic comedic selves.

The Cortez City Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at City Hall on Roger Smith Ave. starting at 7pm.

A new Toastmasters club is forming in Cortez in collaboration with the Montezuma Leadership Network.
Meetings will be held at the Cortez Chamber of Commerce on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 5:30 to 6:30pm. All are welcome!
