Substance abuse is a growing problem among veterans in the U.S. And although illicit drug use is lower among U.S. military personnel than among civilians, alcoholism, and especially prescription drug abuse, are  prevalent. In this episode of KSJD's monthly Veteran's Affairs program, Tom Yoder talks with Albert Gomez, a Readjustment Counseling Therapist with the Veteran's Center in Farmington, New Mexico, about substance abuse among vets and programs that are available to help.
