- Health officials in Montezuma County are warning the community to take extra precautions against the coronavirus as an increasing infection rate threatens hospital capacity. Note: Southwest Health System is an underwriter of KSJD.
- Colorado is also seeing its highest coronavirus case counts and hospitalizations since the start of the pandemic. But Gov. Jared Polis is not issuing any new restrictions.
- Colorado voters have narrowly approved Proposition 114 to reintroduce grey wolves in the state by the end of 2023.
