Most people would probably agree that fire safety is important, but according to Assistant Fire Chief Shawn Bittle of the Cortez Fire Protection District, it can sometimes fall by the wayside.
KSJD's Austin Cope sat down with him to get a refresher about what’s important when it comes to preventing fires.
