Justice Gregory Hobbs, Jr. served on the Colorado Supreme Court from 1996 to 2015. He is an expert on water law, and decided some groundbreaking cases during his tenure. But he is also a poet, an activist, and the author of various books.  He’ll be speaking at the Cortez Public Library Wednesday, May 17th at 6pm. He talked with KSJD’s Gail Binkly about his life as a justice, a poet, and the importance of water.

Gail Binkly is a career journalist who has worked for the Colorado Springs Gazette and Cortez Journal, and was the editor of the Four Corners Free Press, based in Cortez.
