Colorado Welcome Center Manager Resigns

The manager of Cortez’s Welcome Center, Noel Cooley, has announced her resignation, effective June 9th.

Cooley has been in her position since August of 2014. In a press release, City Manager Shane Hale called Cooley “a great asset to our City” because of her work with the more than 75,000 visitors who pass through the center annually. Cooley said in the release that she is ready to retire and “spend more time with her cats.” Assistant Manager Sandra Crow will become interim manager while the city seeks a permanent replacement for Cooley.
