Hot and stormy conditions continue across the Four Corners today. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are likely—especially over the San Juan Mountains, where storm potential is highest. Gusty outflow winds and lightning are possible, though much of the region will stay dry. Rain chances over the San Juans peak around 40–50% from late morning through evening.
Temperatures remain well above average, running nearly 10 degrees hotter than normal for mid-June.
Looking ahead, Wednesday brings more thunderstorm activity to the north as additional moisture moves in. But by Thursday, a shift toward drier weather increases fire risk across the region. The weekend forecast looks hot, dry, and windy—valleys could see triple-digit heat.
