The Best Western Hotel Conversion project would bring 120 units of affordable and transitional housing to Durango. Rents would range from $400 for a studio to $1,100 for a two-bedroom. The project could open its doors to residents by 2024. But first, it has to go through a period of due diligence. Durango officials recently approved an extension of that period as evaluations continue on the property.
