The Cortez Recreation Center will host recurring Teen Nights on the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 5:30 to 8:00pm.
Second Saturdays are available to middle school-aged students while fourth Saturdays are reserved for high school-aged students.
These events will include activities like an open gym, organized sports games, rock climbing, billiards, and a tabletop game room hosted by Bitterblossom Games.
Online pre-registration is encouraged but not required.

The Disabled American Veterans Outreach Center offers rides for Veterans to medical appointments and is looking for volunteer drivers to join the team. Vehicles and gas are provided for these trips.

The First United Methodist Church will host sessions for caregivers every third Tuesday of the month at 4.00pm. These meeting are intended to provide support from other caregivers that are also on the journey of caring for a loved one. Topics discussed will include strategies for self-care, understanding and working with brain change and forms of dementia, dealing with the grief of change, and supporting your health and well-being.
Cortez Integrated Healthcare hosts a peer-led addiction recovery support group every Tuesday at 5:00 PM. Participants will learn practical recovery tools in a supportive, non-12-step environment.
The Cortez City Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at City Hall on Roger Smith Ave. starting at 7pm.

A new Toastmasters club is forming in Cortez in collaboration with the Montezuma Leadership Network. Meetings will be held at the Cortez Chamber of Commerce on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 5:30 to 6:30pm. All are welcome!
