Oil and Gas Auction Near Chaco Postponed

The Bureau of Land Management has announced it will defer a planned oil and gas lease auction for some 2,000 acres near Chaco Culture National Historical Park. The agency says the three parcels were under evaluation for an October 16^th auction but required NEPA and tribal consultation has not yet been concluded.
