"Kids Count" Data Reveals Racial Gaps in Poverty, Educational Opportunity, and Wellness in Colorado

The Colorado Children's Campaign presented the results of the 2016-2017 Kids Count survey to local education, social service, and health and wellness leaders Monday afternoon. After their presentation, KSJD's Austin Cope spoke with a representatives from the Campaign to talk more about the results of the data.

Austin Cope is a former Morning Edition host for KSJD and now produces work on a freelance basis for the station. He grew up in Cortez and hosted a show on KSJD when he was 10 years old.
