Microbursts are a rare weather phenomenon that occur in summer or early fall. A microburst occured in Cortez in September, and knocked a tree onto a house. KSJD's Austin Cope spoke with local weather observer and meterologist Jim Andrus to learn more about these phenomena and how they occur.
