She’s responsible for KRCC’s overall news presence, and oversees a cadre of staff, freelancers, and students.  Her award-winning work has been heard on NPR, The World (PRI), and the BBC. Temple Emanuel in Pueblo plans to install security cameras after the arrest of a man who allegedly planned to blow up the synagogue over the weekend. A statement from Temple Emanuel says police have also increased area patrols. A Southern Colorado man has been charged with a federal hate crime.

A ceremony Monday at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs marked the official re-opening of the U.S. Space Command. 

Governor Jared Polis is supporting calls for an independent investigation into the officer-involved shooting in Colorado Springs that resulted in the death of 19-year-old De'Von Bailey. 

The Colorado Springs Police Department has released body camera footage and other information related to the officer-involved shooting that resulted in the death 19-year-old De'Von Bailey. The shooting sparked community rallies, a call for patience from Mayor John Suthers and a press conference with the family.

Efforts to pay for the new Summit Complex at the top of Pikes Peak are a few cents closer, after Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers emptied his pocket change and became the first donor to a new fundraising campaign.
