We’re starting the week with mostly dry conditions across the listening area, though a few isolated showers and maybe a thunderstorm are possible over the northern mountains today.
Most of the region will see plenty of sunshine and near-normal temperatures, while the northern valleys may notice breezy winds from time to time.
By Tuesday, a cold front sliding across Wyoming will bring scattered storms back into the picture, favoring the higher terrain, though a few valley locations could see isolated showers as well.
Temperatures will swing between a little cooler than normal in the north and slightly warmer than normal south of I-70.
Looking ahead, temperatures continue to fluctuate between just below and just above seasonal averages through the week, with another chance of moisture returning by the weekend, though the timing and extent of that system remain uncertain.
