Warm, Dry Stretch Continues Before Cooler, Unsettled Weather Arrives

Ways To Subscribe

It’s another stretch of warm and dry weather across the Four Corners — with sunshine and mild temperatures holding steady through tomorrow.

This afternoon’s highs will reach around 62 in Dove Creek, 70 in Rattlesnake, and 67 here in Cortez, running well above normal for early November.

Skies stay mostly clear tonight, but some high clouds move in tomorrow as an approaching system builds over the Rockies.

That will mark the transition to a slightly cooler and more unsettled pattern heading into Thursday and Friday, with a weak front brushing northern Colorado.

Expect just a few light mountain snow showers — mostly a dusting to an inch at higher elevations — while the rest of the region stays dry and breezy.

Temperatures cool five to ten degrees by late week before rebounding slightly this weekend.
