The Turquoise Art Gallery in Cortez will host an exhibition of paintings by artist Bobbe Jones throughout April. Many of the pieces will focus on the theme of birds.

On Wednesday, April 15 at 4:00pm, Canyons of the Ancients Visitor Center and Museum will host a presentation by Aaron Watson on International Dark Sky Park Certification.
Attendees will learn what it takes for Canyons of the Ancients National Monument to earn International Dark Sky Park certification.
Four Corners Writers will host a workshop every third Wednesday at the Zu Gallery from 6:00 to 7:30pm.This is open to all writers regardless of genre or experience level and will allow attendees to learn more about the craft and business of writing.
On Wednesday, 15th of April at 6:30pm, Mancos Middle and High School students will present a Spring Band Concert in support of The Bridge Homeless Shelter in Cortez and Joy Junction Homeless Shelter in Albuquerque.
The event will also feature a set of video submissions for their virtual talent show.

Southwest Conservation Corps are filling high school member positions for June and July. These positions offer an opportunity to engage in meaningful conservation work in The Four Corners Region.

Cortez Public Library will host a session on every third Thursday at 3:00pm entitled "Life Affirming Discussions". This will enable attendees to explore positivity and self-care through affirmations, mindful eating, healthy tips, and related topics.
Children aged from 5 to 10 are invited to attend the Good News After School Club on Thursdays from 3:45pm.
Situated at BUS across from Kemper Elementary School, the club will feature, Bible lessons, snacks and games and is hosted by local area churches.
