The Pinon Project will host The Incredible Years Advanced Parenting Class every Tuesday from 1:00 - 3:00pm.This class is for parents and caregivers of children aged from 2 to 10 years. Cortez Integrated Healthcare hosts a peer-led addiction recovery support group every Tuesday at 5:00 PM. Participants will learn practical recovery tools in a supportive, non-12-step environment.
The Pinon Project will offer a parenting class called "Six Bricks" every Tuesday from 5:30 to 8:00pm.
This new and updated program is centered around six research-proven steps that will help build a strong foundation for children's lives.

Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, The Sunflower Theatre will host Improv Comedy Jams. Beginning at 6:00pm, these classes are intended to suit total beginners and those of an intermediate level.Instructed by the Sunflower Theatre's Director, Sarah Syverson, participants will learn new improv skills and find their authentic comedic selves.Further information is available at sunflowertheatre.org

Four Corners Writers will host a workshop every third Wednesday at the Zu Gallery from 6:00 to 7:30pm.This is open to all writers regardless of genre or experience level and will allow attendees to learn more about the craft and business of writing.

Cortez Public Library will host a session on every third Thursday at 3:00pm entitled "Life Affirming Discussions". This will enable attendees to explore positivity and self-care through affirmations, mindful eating, healthy tips, and related topics.
A new Toastmasters club is forming in Cortez in collaboration with the Montezuma Leadership Network. Meetings will be held at the Cortez Chamber of Commerce on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 5:30 to 6:30pm. All are welcome!
