On Mondays from April 6th to May 4th, The Sunflower Theatre will continue to advance budding improv artists with Improv 301 classes.

Beginning at 7:00pm, these classes are intended for those who have already attended the Improv 201 class.

Every second Thursday of the month, The Sunflower Theatre will host a Spoken Word Open Mic Night at 7:00pm.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own original poetry or prose to share with a warm and welcoming audience. Each reader will have 3 to 7 minutes to share their work.

On Friday, April 10th and Saturday, April 11th The Sunflower Theatre will be screening a handpicked collection of world-class films that celebrate adventure, conservation, family, and culture through the lens of fly fishing.

On Saturday, April 11th from 10:00am until 2:30pm, The Sunflower Theatre will host a Story Through Song Masterclass.

This dynamic acting-the-song masterclass is designed for performers who are ready to go deeper beyond technique and into truth. Tutored by Clown Sex Ed producer, Dallas Padoven and star, Zachary Chiero, this workshop will guide attendees in making bold, specific choices that bring their songs vividly to life.

On Wednesday, April 22nd at 7:00pm, The Sunflower Theatre will screen "Rooted in Restoration" in association with Montezuma Land Conservancy and Trees, Water and People.

This short documentary film explores the Traditional Harvest Project—a cross-cultural conservation initiative reconnecting people and land in Southwest Colorado.

Following the screening, the evening will conclude with a panel discussion featuring staff from MLC and TWP, local restoration experts and practitioners, and landowners involved in the project.

Hosted by Aria Pettyone, this over 21s event promises where glitter meets heart, where performance meets pure freedom, and where community takes center stage.

Spring Fling Drag Show is a vibrant, high-energy celebration of self-expression, artistry, and the beautiful diversity of our Southwest Colorado community.
