Cortez Integrated Healthcare hosts a peer-led addiction recovery support group every Tuesday at 5:00 PM. Participants will learn practical recovery tools in a supportive, non-12-step environment.

The Pinon Project will offer a parenting class called "Six Bricks" every Tuesday from 5:30 to 8:00pm.

This new and updated program is centered around six research-proven steps that will help build a strong foundation for children's lives.

Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, The Sunflower Theatre will host Improv Comedy Jams. Beginning at 6:00pm, these classes are intended to suit total beginners and those of an intermediate level.
Instructed by the Sunflower Theatre's Director, Sarah Syverson, participants will learn new improv skills and find their authentic comedic selves.

The Cortez City Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at City Hall on Roger Smith Ave. starting at 7pm.

Porchlight Health is seeking volunteers for its bi-monthly Victim Impact Panel—a program designed to educate individuals convicted of DUIs through firsthand stories. The panel features those personally affected by impaired driving, and Porchlight is currently looking to expand its roster of speakers.

The Sunflower Theatre is offering budding improv artists the chance to improve their craft with Improv Comedy 101 Classes.

From Wednesday, September 10th until Wednesday, October 1st from 6:00 to 8:00pm, this four week class will explore the fundamentals and the art of improvisational comedy.
