Good Sam’s Food Pantry in Cortez is open for visitors on Tuesdays and Fridays from 12 to 2 p.m. and again from 3 to 6 p.m., and on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12 to 2 p.m. only. The pantry is located in the big pink warehouse at 30 North Beech Street. Staff are usually on-site Monday through Friday for donations or office needs, but may be busy—so knock loud or call ahead.

The Pinon Project will host The Incredible Years Advanced Parenting Class every Tuesday from 1:00 - 3:00pm.
This class is for parents and caregivers of children aged from 2 to 10 years. Participants will learn interpersonal skills, anger management and problem solving.

Dolores Public Library will offer help with technology questions every Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00pm.

Volunteers are sought to help maintain our local mountain biking trails every Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:00pm.

Cortez Integrated Healthcare hosts a peer-led addiction recovery support group every Tuesday at 5:00 PM. Participants will learn practical recovery tools in a supportive, non-12-step environment.

Cortez Public Library will host a food writing workshop on Tuesday, September 2nd at 5:00pm in their conference room.

Hosted by Charlie Buck from the University of Arizona Poetry Center, no tickets are required and all are welcome.

The Pinon Project will offer a parenting class called "Six Bricks" every Tuesday from 5:30 to 8:00pm.

This new and updated program is centered around six research-proven steps that will help build a strong foundation for children's lives.

Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, The Sunflower Theatre will host Improv Comedy Jams. Beginning at 6:00pm, these classes are intended to suit total beginners and those of an intermediate level.
Instructed by the Sunflower Theatre's Director, Sarah Syverson, participants will learn new improv skills and find their authentic comedic selves.

The next monthly Beginner's Jam at Zu Gallery will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd at 6:00pm. This jam will be led by local musicians and is open to all.
