Local band, Horizon will take to the stage at Mancos Brewing Company on Friday, February 6th from 5:30pm.
Horizon is a soul funk trio, based out of Mancos and composed of singer songwriter Yves Giraud on guitar and lead vocals, Linda Gimble Baker on flute, sax, and vocals, and Isaac Kimbro on drums and vocals.

Cortez Adventist Christian School students will showcase cultures from around the world at their International Food Fair at Montezuma County Annex on Saturday, February 7th at 6:30pm.
Attendees can sample different food from around the world and this fundraiser will help support the school.

The Disabled American Veterans Outreach Center offers rides for Veterans to medical appointments and is looking for volunteer drivers to join the team. Vehicles and gas are provided for these trips.

Stretch and Strength is an exercise class for people with Parkinson's Disease and their care givers. It is held weekly on a Tuesday at 11 am at The Heart and Core Yoga Studio at 720 East Main Street, Cortez.More information is online at parkinsonrockies.org/exercise.
Cortez Integrated Healthcare hosts a peer-led addiction recovery support group every Tuesday at 5:00 PM. Participants will learn practical recovery tools in a supportive, non-12-step environment.
The Pinon Project will host a 12 week course called the "Incredible Years Parenting Program" each Tuesday starting at 5:30pm at The Treehouse Early Learning Center in North Elm Street.
Participants will learn parenting skills. Dinner and childcare are provided.

Every Thursday at 5:30pm The Pinon Project hosts Alphabet Soup. This is a program for parents and caretakers of children with special needs or challenging behaviors.Dinner and childcare are provided. Further information is available at pinonproject.org
The Pinon Project will offer a parenting class called "Six Bricks" every Thursday from 5:30 to 8:00pm.
This new and updated program is centered around six research-proven steps that will help build a strong foundation for children's lives.
