Montezuma Heritage Museum will host Native Scenes, Native Stories until Friday, October 24th.
Native Scenes, Native Stories features the work of two local Diné artists, Keith Smith and Ed Singer.

The Turquoise Raven Art Gallery in Cortez will feature work by local artist, Michele Farrier, during the month of September.
Michele, a plein air artist, captures our regional landscapes in oils. The exhibit is viewable during gallery hours.
Hospice of Montezuma will facilitate a weekly meeting for men each Friday from 2:00 - 3:30pm.
This group is for men who might benefit from sharing things that have been weighing on their minds. Seeing things from a new perspective is often very helpful. Mental health matters!

Cortez Public Library will host an interactive session about water on Friday, September 5th at 2:00pm.
This interactive lesson will show how water is important and why it matters so much to us. Hosted in partnership with High Desert Conservation District this event is for kids aged 5 and up.

Cortez Farmers Market will occur at their new location on the corner of Empire and Mildred streets, every Saturday until October 25th. Local produce, crafts, food, and music will be available weekly from 8.30am.
Mount Lookout Grange will host their annual pig roast on Saturday, September 6th from 3:30 to 5:30pm.
This family friendly event will feature a locally raised pig, music from The Blue Moon Ramblers, drinks from Mancos Brewing Company, Dolores River Brewery and Fenceline Cider.
All proceeds raised will support Mount Lookout Grange. Further information is available at themancosgrange.com
Durango Arts Center will play host to The Raven Narratives on Saturday, September 6th at 7:00pm.
This live storytelling event will feature local storytellers sharing personal, true, sometimes funny, sometimes poignant stories on the theme of "secrets".

Four Corners Food Not Bombs will provide an opportunity for mutual aid at the pink warehouse at 30 N. Beech Street in Cortez on Sundays from noon to 1:30pm. Everyone is invited, but not required, to bring a vegetarian or vegan dish to share. Needed items include tents, sleeping bags, hygiene supplies, and socks.
Fenceline Cider will host and Open Mic event on the first Sunday of the Month from 4:00 to 7:00pm.

The Disabled American Veterans Outreach Center offers rides for Veterans to medical appointments and is looking for volunteer drivers to join the team. Vehicles and gas are provided for these trips.
