Every Tuesday evening beginning at 6:30pm, Dolores River Brewery invites music lovers to celebrate solo and duo artists from the county and region in their intimate performance setting.
The Cortez City Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at City Hall on Roger Smith Ave. starting at 7pm.

Dolores River Brewery hosts Trivia Night every Wednesday from 6 to 8pm.
Teams of one to six people are welcome to test their knowledge among fellow trivia lovers.
Kelly's Kitchen will serve chicken katsu, pulled pork, and grilled cheese from 4:00 to 8:00pm.
The Sunflower Theatre will offer Improv Jams every second Wednesday, beginning at 6:00pm.
Each session begins with a fun improv skill or game to learn, followed by a lively jam where everyone gets to jump in, play, and practice together.

Cortez Recreation Center will host a fall pickleball league, open to beginner and intermediate players.
The league will be held on Wednesdays beginning September 16th from 6:00 to 9:00pm and registration for pairs including mixed doubles must be completed by September 14th.

Every Thursday at 9:00am, Canyon of the Ancients Visitor Center and Museum invite volunteer gardeners to come lend a hand in keeping the gardens at the center looking their best.
No experience is necessary other than a love of plants.

Mancos Farmers Market will take place every Thursday in Boyle Park from 4:00 to 6:30pm featuring local vegetables, baked goods and more.
To celebrate Mexican Heritage Month, Cortez Public Library will be screening a suitably thematic movie on Thursday, September 10th at 5:00pm. Movie popcorn will be provided.

As part of the Talon Trail Series, Run and Hike, Cortez will be the start and end point for runners and walkers on Thursday, September 10th from 5:30 -7:30pm.
Participants can run either 10 or 5k or walk 2 miles. Snacks, hydration, finger foods, product demos and prizes will be available.
