The Dolores Christmas Craft Fair will take place over two days on Saturday, December 6th and Sunday, December 7th at Dolores Community Center between 9:00am and 4:00pm.

Featuring some different local vendors on each day, the fair will also see a visit from Santa Claus on the Saturday.

The Annual Santa Photo Saturday takes place on Saturday, December 6th from 1:00 to 3:00pm at ZU Gallery in Cortez.

Hosted by Cortez Retail Enhancement, the event will feature professional photography by Zu Gallery as well as hot cocoa and candy canes. Entry is by the Chestnut Street door.

The 36th Annual Parade of Lights will come to Main Street, Cortez on Saturday, December 6th at 6:00pm.

Four Corners Food Not Bombs will provide an opportunity for mutual aid at the pink warehouse at 30 N. Beech Street in Cortez on Sundays from noon to 1:30pm. Everyone is invited, but not required, to bring a vegetarian or vegan dish to share. Needed items include tents, sleeping bags, hygiene supplies, and socks.

The Mancos Valley Chorus will present, "A Patchwork Christmas", at Mancos United Methodist Church on Sunday, December 7th at 3:00pm.

The Disabled American Veterans Outreach Center offers rides for Veterans to medical appointments and is looking for volunteer drivers to join the team. Vehicles and gas are provided for these trips.

The Cortez City Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at City Hall on Roger Smith Ave. starting at 7pm.

The Over The Hill Gang Cortez Car Club meets on the second Wednesday of each month at the United Methodist Church, located at Empire and Park Streets. Meet and greet begins at 6pm, followed by the meeting at 7pm. Anyone with a love for cars is welcome! For details, call 970-560-1891.

The "Stuff the Little Art Box" event will take place on Wednesday, December 10th from 6:00 to 7:30pm at ZU Gallery in Cortez.

During this event participants will receive painting supplies, a 6x6 canvas, and a drink token to create artwork for the community art gallery box outside ZU Gallery.

This event is hosted by The LOR Foundation and will feature live holiday music performed by Winds En Cinque, a woodwind quintet from the Four Corners Community Band.
