Canyon of the Ancients Visitor Center and Museum invite all to attend a Star Party on Friday, September 4th from 6:00pm.
The event will be dedicated to astronomy and attendees can experience informative presentations, guided stargazing and the opportunity to use telescopes.

The Odd Cat Bookstore in Dolores will host a celebration of local authors on Saturday, September 5th from 10:00am.
Titled "Canyon Creatives", the event will allow attendees to meet local authors and learn of their work. Local musician, Charles Wecker will also perform.
Montezuma Heritage Museum will host a downtown walking tour of Cortez on Saturday, September 5th beginning at 10:00am.
This guided tour will offer insights of the people, businesses and events that shaped Cortez's past.

The Cortez Cultural Center will host the 2nd Annual Four Corners Studio Tour taking place over the last two weekends of September.
The event will see Montezuma County artists open their studios to the public.

Off The Bench in Cortez will host Teen Hangout Night on Saturday, September 5th from 5:30 - 8:00pm.
The evening will feature an open gym, bounce house, structured games and snacks.

Each First Sunday of the month, Mancos Public Library will host two traditional Kundalini yoga classes at both 7:00 and 9:00am in person and on Zoom.
Hosted by Colette, the class will involve breathing techniques, movement and meditation and these can also be done from a chair.

Four Corners Food Not Bombs is a mutual aid group where neighbors help neighbors, and everyone is welcome. They meet Sundays from noon to 1:30 at the Good Sam’s Warehouse in Cortez for a hot, homemade vegan and vegetarian potluck, plus an exchange of books and clothes. Come give what you can, and take what you need.
The Rico Labor Day Celebration and Old Timers Picnic will take place on Sunday, September 6th from 12:00pm in Jones Park behind Rico Fire Station.
The day will feature a picnic, storytelling, horse rides and a raffle.
