The Cult Movie Federation of Mancos will screen holiday classic, "It's a Wonderful Life", at Mancos Opera House on Thursday, December 18th at 6:00pm.
Attendees are encourage to bring non-perishable food items for Mancos Food Share.
The screening will have raffle prizes and refreshments for purchase.

Every third Friday of the month, Cortez Public Library will host, "Coffee and Crafts" from 10:am to 12:00pm.This will feature paint sets, drawing tools and a sewing machine. Coffee and tea will be provided but you need to bring your own mug.
Hospice of Montezuma will facilitate a weekly meeting for men each Friday from 2:00 - 3:30pm.
This group is for men who might benefit from sharing things that have been weighing on their minds. Seeing things from a new perspective is often very helpful. Mental health matters!

Zu Gallery in Cortez will host Show and Tell for Adults on Friday, December 19th at 6:00pm.
Guest speakers will share their passions through ten minute presentations. Would-be presenters are asked to sign up in advance.

The Sunflower Theatre will host an evening of Live Readings from Four Corners Voices on Friday, December 19th from 6:30 to 8:00pm.
Last year’s anthology of local writing, Four Corners Voices, won the 2025 Colorado Book Award. This year’s anthology of stories, essays, and poetry from Four Corners Writers will once again feature the work of over forty of our area’s finest literary voices.

The Sunflower Theatre will host LB Productions for a special evening of Christmas songs on Saturday, December 20th from 7:00pm.
This event is for all ages to enjoy with familiar carols, joyful melodies, and the kind of togetherness that makes this time of year shine. Festive treats like warm wassail and gingerbread will be shared to make the night even sweeter.

Four Corners Food Not Bombs will provide an opportunity for mutual aid at the pink warehouse at 30 N. Beech Street in Cortez on Sundays from noon to 1:30pm. Everyone is invited, but not required, to bring a vegetarian or vegan dish to share. Needed items include tents, sleeping bags, hygiene supplies, and socks.

The Disabled American Veterans Outreach Center offers rides for Veterans to medical appointments and is looking for volunteer drivers to join the team. Vehicles and gas are provided for these trips.
