Indigenous Wellbriety will host a Talking Circle twice weekly at Cortez Cultural Center.

Tuesday meetings begin at 6:00pm and Thursday meetings begin at 1:00pm. All are welcome.

The Cortez City Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at City Hall on Roger Smith Ave. starting at 7pm.

Cortez Public Library will host an after school program every Wednesday between 4:00 and 5:00pm for kids eight years and older.

The program will include help with homework, games, activities and snacks.

Dolores River Brewery hosts Trivia Night every Wednesday from 6 to 8pm.

Teams of one to six people are welcome to test their knowledge among fellow trivia lovers.

Kelly's Kitchen will serve chicken katsu, pulled pork, and grilled cheese from 4:00 to 8:00pm.

Grace's Kitchen is accepting donations and sign-ups for this year's Community Thanksgiving Take Out Meal. Last year over six hundred meals were served to community members. As usual, all are welcome to be recipients.

The Mancos Meditation Group meets every Thursday at 6:00pm at the One Heart House, located at 733 Grand Avenue in Mancos. More information is on the Mancos Meditation Group Facebook page.

The Sunflower Theatre will host "Medicine For These Times" on Thursday, November 12th at 7:00pm.

"Medicine For These Times" is an evening of poetry, song, storytelling, and improv and will feature the launch of local poet, Geneva Toland’s debut poetry collection as well as original songs by musician and singer Rebecca Favero, an improv skit by MOCO Improv Comedy Troupe, an oral story by storyteller Ted Packard, and a performance by playwright and poet M Waldron.

The evening will also feature a dance party from 9:00pm with DJ Loam.

Cortez Recreation Center in partnership with TeamUp, will host "Teen Hangout Night" every second Saturday of the month from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.

Middle and high school teens can drop-in and enjoy structured activities and complimentary snacks and drinks. Further information is available at teamupsw.org/teen-hangout-night

Four Corners Food Not Bombs is a mutual aid group where neighbors help neighbors, and everyone is welcome. They meet Sundays from noon to 1:30 at the Good Sam’s Warehouse in Cortez for a hot, homemade vegan and vegetarian potluck, plus an exchange of books and clothes. Come give what you can, and take what you need.
