Cortez Farmers Market will occur at their new location on the corner of Empire and Mildred streets, every Saturday until October 25th. Local produce, crafts, food, and music will be available weekly from 8.30am.
The Montezuma Heritage Museum will host a talk by Pete Montaño on Saturday, September 13th at 2:00pm.Pete will share the story of his family's shepherding history and the Penitente landmarks they left on the landscape.
The Arboretum in Durango will host a gig with Boulder-based artist, Ethan J. Perry on Saturday, September 13th at 6:00pm.
Ethan performs solo acoustic shows featuring introspective and genre-blending music.

The Thunderbird Ranch in Mancos will play host to an Alternative Happening on Sunday, September 14th from 12:00 to 7:00pm.
This one day wellness experience and live music gathering will feature massage therapy, reflexology, acupuncture, and a variety of other services offered by local practitioners.

Four Corners Food Not Bombs will provide an opportunity for mutual aid at the pink warehouse at 30 N. Beech Street in Cortez on Sundays from noon to 1:30pm. Everyone is invited, but not required, to bring a vegetarian or vegan dish to share. Needed items include tents, sleeping bags, hygiene supplies, and socks.

The Disabled American Veterans Outreach Center offers rides for Veterans to medical appointments and is looking for volunteer drivers to join the team. Vehicles and gas are provided for these trips.
