Every second Thursday of the month, The Sunflower Theatre will host a Spoken Word Open Mic Night at 7:00pm.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own original poetry or prose to share with a warm and welcoming audience. Each reader will have 3 to 7 minutes to share their work.

The Cortez Public Library is hosting a dinosaur egg hunt through Wednesday, April 8th during regular library hours.
Participants who find all the eggs will earn a dinosaur of their own.
On Friday, April 3rd from 11:30am, Cortez Makerspace will be holding a workshop called "Blender for 3D Printing, Tips and Tricks".
This limited availability hands-on workshop will cover workflows and techniques, as well as common pitfalls and model clean up.

Durango Arts Center and Our Own Lives will present the Second Annual Disability Art Show, from Friday March 6th to Saturday, April 4th in the Barbara Conrad Gallery at the arts center.
Our Own Lives is a non-profit organization that provides direct services to the disability community in Southwest Colorado and the show will feature work by more than two dozen local artists. The exhibition is open from noon on Tuesdays to Saturdays.
Hospice of Montezuma is offering a weekly men’s discussion group on Fridays from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
The group is open to men who want a supportive space to talk about what’s been on their minds and hear different perspectives. For more information, call Derek Streeter at 970-565-4400.
Pueblo Community College will be running a Construction Class on Fridays and Wednesdays from 3:00 to 5:00pm at The Makerspace in Cortez.
These classes will run until May 9th.

Studio & Gallery in Durango is hosting, 'Stations of the Cross" A solo exhibition by Mike Brieger from Friday, April 3rd until Sunday, April 12th.
Mike will debut sixteen new paintings of his interpretation of the tale of Christ's last day.
On Friday, April 3rd at 5:30pm, Mancos Brewing Company will play host to a gig by popular four piece band, Bluegrouse.
Known for their vocal harmonies and wide ranging musical tastes, Bluegrouse dip into folk, swing, bluegrass and even the occasional Celtic tune.
Local band Horizon will take to the stage at Mancos Brewing Company the first Friday of each month starting at 5:30pm.
