The Disabled American Veterans Outreach Center offers rides for Veterans to medical appointments and is looking for volunteer drivers to join the team. Vehicles and gas are provided for these trips.

The Good Food Collective in Durango offers a variety of resources to help residents with fruit trees.

The Sunflower Theatre will offer a weekly vocal performance workshop with international vocal coach and playwright, Anita Burleson.
Running from Monday, September the 8th until Monday, October 6th from 6:30 until 8:00pm, these classes will offer participants the opportunity to be authentically confident while singing on tape. Intended for beginning to intermediate singers, these workshops will use fun exercises and singing techniques to guide participants towards their goals and an optional final showcase event.

Stretch and Strength is an exercise class is for people with Parkinson's Disease and their care givers. It is held weekly on a Tuesday at 11 am at The Heart and Core Yoga Studio at 720 East Main Street, Cortez.More information is online at parkinsonrockies.org/exercise.
Good Sam’s Food Pantry in Cortez is open for visitors on Tuesdays and Fridays from 12 to 2 p.m. and again from 3 to 6 p.m., and on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12 to 2 p.m. only. The pantry is located in the big pink warehouse at 30 North Beech Street. Staff are usually on-site Monday through Friday for donations or office needs, but may be busy—so knock loud or call ahead.
The Pinon Project will host The Incredible Years Advanced Parenting Class every Tuesday from 1:00 - 3:00pm.This class is for parents and caregivers of children aged from 2 to 10 years.
