Cortez Integrated Healthcare hosts a peer-led addiction recovery support group every Tuesday at 5:00 PM. Participants will learn practical recovery tools in a supportive, non-12-step environment.
From Tuesday, April 7th until Wednesday, April 15th, Health Without Barriers will host a six week wellness program in Mancos for teens aged eleven to nineteen.
This program will include health education, cooking and nutrition classes and stress coping skills.

Cortez Recreation Center will be hosting an Adult Co-Ed Kickball League on Tuesdays at 6:00pm beginning May 5th.
All skill levels are welcome and teams of nine must register by May 1st.

On Wednesday, April 22nd Southwest Colorado Canyons Alliance is seeking volunteers for an Earth Day clean-up along Road G.
This cleanup is in partnership with Canyons of the Ancients National Monument, Battle Rock Charter School, & Osprey Packs. The event kicks off at 9:00am at Battle Rock School and runs until 12:00pm. Further information and registration are available at swcocanyons.org
On Wednesday, April 22nd, Osprey Packs and other local organizations are seeking volunteers to celebrate Earth Day by participating in a local clean up.
Clean up options are Road G near Cortez or the Take Out Beach in Dolores. Trash bags and gloves are available at various pick up sites.

The Turquoise Art Gallery in Cortez will host an exhibition of paintings by artist Bobbe Jones throughout April. Many of the pieces will focus on the theme of birds.

All skill levels are welcome. The silver league is for casual, recreational players while the gold league is more competitive.

On Wednesday, April 22nd at 7:00pm, The Sunflower Theatre will screen "Rooted in Restoration" in association with Montezuma Land Conservancy and Trees, Water and People.
This short documentary film explores the Traditional Harvest Project—a cross-cultural conservation initiative reconnecting people and land in Southwest Colorado.
Following the screening, the evening will conclude with a panel discussion featuring staff from MLC and TWP, local restoration experts and practitioners, and landowners involved in the project.
