A new Toastmasters club is forming in Cortez in collaboration with the Montezuma Leadership Network. Meetings will be held at the Cortez Chamber of Commerce on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 5:30 to 6:30pm. All are welcome!

The Pinon Project will host The Incredible Years Advanced Parenting Class every Tuesday from 1:00 - 3:00pm.This class is for parents and caregivers of children aged from 2 to 10 years. Cortez Integrated Healthcare hosts a peer-led addiction recovery support group every Tuesday at 5:00 PM. Participants will learn practical recovery tools in a supportive, non-12-step environment.
The Pinon Project will offer a parenting class called "Six Bricks" every Tuesday from 5:30 to 8:00pm.
This new and updated program is centered around six research-proven steps that will help build a strong foundation for children's lives.

The Four Corners AI Conference will take place Monday, December 16 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at Fort Lewis College in the Concert Hall and Student Union. The event includes keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and workshops focused on artificial intelligence in rural communities. It is open to the public.
