Cortez Integrated Healthcare hosts a peer-led addiction recovery support group every Tuesday at 5:00 PM. Participants will learn practical recovery tools in a supportive, non-12-step environment.

Indigenous Wellbriety will host a Talking Circle twice weekly at Cortez Cultural Center.

Tuesday meetings begin at 6:00pm and Thursday meetings begin at 1:00pm. All are welcome.

The Sunflower Theatre will offer Improv Jams every second Wednesday, beginning at 6:00pm.

Each session begins with a fun improv skill or game to learn, followed by a lively jam where everyone gets to jump in, play, and practice together.

On Saturday, October 31st from 10:00am Mesa Verde Lavender Farm will host a workshop with Kayleigh from Fox Willow Fold.

Kayleigh will guide participants through the process of finishing a sheepskin hide and turning it into a cowl, sitting pad, or a pair of sheepskin insoles.

Every Sunday afternoon starting at 2:30pm, The Odd Cat Bookstore in Dolores will host a writing group.

This casual event will typically feature a writing prompt followed by twenty minutes of writing and then a sharing session. Some afternoons will feature a local writer.

Cortez Public Library will host the TCG Club every Tuesday from 4:15pm where kids eight and older can enjoy playing and trading cards like Pokemon and Magic the Gathering.
