Canyons of the Ancients Visitor Center and Museum will host a slideshow presentation and lecture on Friday, May 15th at 4:00pm.
Presenter, Marian Rohman, author of "Plants of Canyons of the Ancients National Monument" will help attendees explore native plants of the region, provide identification tips, and discuss seasonal changes and ecological roles.

Every Sunday afternoon from 3:00pm, The Odd Cat Bookstore in Dolores will host a writing group.
This casual event will typically feature a writing prompt followed by twenty minutes of writing and then a sharing session. Some afternoons will feature a local writer.

The First United Methodist Church will host sessions for caregivers every third Tuesday of the month at 4.00pm. These meetings are intended to provide support from other caregivers that are also on the journey of caring for a loved one.
Cortez Integrated Healthcare hosts a peer-led addiction recovery support group every Tuesday at 5:00 PM. Participants will learn practical recovery tools in a supportive, non-12-step environment.
May 20 Wednesday
Four Corners Writers will host a workshop every third Wednesday at the Zu Gallery from 6:00 to 7:30pm.This is open to all writers regardless of genre or experience level and will allow attendees to learn more about the craft and business of writing.

Cortez Public Library will host a session on every third Thursday at 3:00pm entitled "Life Affirming Discussions". This will enable attendees to explore positivity and self-care through affirmations, mindful eating, healthy tips, and related topics.
